Shred Spotlight - Capita Snowboards
If you are a snowboarder this is a household name. Capita has been pumping out quality snowboards for over twenty years, and their team is always stacked with legendary riders. You’ve probably seen Kazu dropping beautiful methods off huge cliffs, Torstein stomping insane backcountry jumps, and Arthur Longo boosting mind blowing side hits. And those are only a couple of the Capita riders, the talent pool runs deep…
We are proud to have Capita boards in the shop and wanted to touch on a few models that we will have in stock this season.
Spring Break Powder Twin - A wide, medium flex, true twin for laying down some style on a pow day.
Kazu Pro - A directional board that is mostly cambered with some rocker in the nose. Quick and snappy, this board feels like a classic snowboard with some new school taper.
Black Snowboard of Death - Relatively stiff and directional, the perfect all mountain daily driver for the aggressive rider.
Birds of a Feather - A favorite for ladies who like to switch it up, this mid flex twin is the perfect mix between resort and park.
Navigator - Soft and surfy. If you want something that is easy riding and you like directional boards with some taper this is the board for you.
Jess Kimura Equalizer - For the women who love pushing it on the mountain. A premium freeride board with some backbone and a versatile hybrid camber.
One thing is for certain, when it comes to quality control everything coming out of the Capita factory aka “The Mothership” is on point. We can confidently say the finish and tunes on their boards are the best in the shop.
